It was a great reunion of old workmates and their partners - Nick and Mel, Simon and Julie, Andy (replete with DLT beard), Matt (with a beard I can't link to a specific DJ), Patrick and Helen and the great Dr Porridge of Winnersh Triangle himself. We even managed to prise Johan out of Garlic and Shots to join us for a drink later on.

Mike and Cheryl are off to Toronto. And they weren't the only people at the table last night heading for Canada. On Friday I received my letter of invitation to present to Canadian immigration for my work visa. If everything goes to plan I'll be joining ThoughtWorks Canada in Calgary at the end of March for a year. Which is nice.
