Just got back home from the first night of NSN24. I'm just so emotionally exhausted now - but also wired. God knows when I'll get to sleep.

It was good! More than just good; I have to say I was absolutely delighted with how it went. We had a full house and great performances from all the players. And the audience seemed to dig it. We got lots of good feeback - OK mostly from mates who were bound to say nice things. But they had good things to say about the concept and the structure and the general production stuff. So it works and that was the thing I was most worried about. I'm chuffed to bits that something I've been talking about doing for so long has actually come about and I actually made it happen.

Driving home I put my iPod (aka the jPod) on random and it launched a very serendipitous mix. First up was "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.
